GREASE SEPARATORS RGF

The grease separators produced by JSC Feliksnavis shall be used wherever it is necessary to separate grease from the wastewater. Grease separators have to be installed in public and catering premises which release more than 1 kg of oil per day into the sewage. Grease is fats and oils of vegetable and animal origin which density is less than 0,95 g/cm3. Grease separators may be used in:

 

Grease separators are made of polyester resins with excellent characteristics, i.e. they are resistant to chemical impact and are waterproof. The most optimal combinations of fibreglass roving or fabric and polyester resins are used for manufacturing of storage tanks, which provide resistance to corrosive environments, durability, longevity of product. All these characteristics determine the safe installation of the grease separators.

The preferred nominal sizes of grease separators are 1-20 l/s, but other nominal sizes are permissible according to individual orders.

Manufacturer provides 10 years guarantee for the fibreglass housing of grease separator.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The grease separator comprises of one horizontal or vertical cylindrical chamber with grease level sensor, which reports about accumulated grease in it.

Wastewater contaminated with fat and grease enters the grease separator through the inlet pipe and T-pipe, where the sedimentation of suspended solids and gravitational separation of fats takes place. Then wastewater goes through the nozzle pipe toward the outlet. Later the treated wastewater from grease separators gets to sewer pipes for further treatment. Each grease separator is manufactured with inspection manhole which allows to extend the inlet on necessary depth from the surface of the ground. Grease separators are completed with a grease level sensors which inform about accumulated grease and fats in it. The accumulated fats should be eliminated by sewage disposal truck or manually and also taken away for the further utilization.
